Celebrates Rwanda’s cultural heritage through artistic innovation and encourages appreciation for traditional music and its modern evolution.
The KINYARWANDA Concert Series was inspired by KINYARWANDA, an album by Rwandan producer Dr. Nganji, which was released on April 22, 2024. The album fused traditional Rwandan music with contemporary styles, celebrating cultural heritage through artistic innovation.
The project has brought a series of small-scale concerts to rural areas of Rwanda, fostering appreciation for traditional music and its modern evolution, a mission that continues beyond the initial phase.

To promote cultural appreciation by blending traditional and modern Rwandan music through live concerts in rural areas.

Kinyarwanda Concert Series | Documentary
The Kinyarwanda Concert Series project was funded by Espace Plus, in partnership with the Swiss Cooperation in Rwanda through its Programme d’Appui à la Culture dans la région des Grands Lacs (PAC GRANDS LACS) in 2025.
It featured performances and contributions from artists including Dr. Nganji, Icenova, Indatwa n’ Abarerwa Troupe, Karambizi, RoMeo Rapstar, and Zeo Trap.
